The wind in my face and the feeling of the rumbling motor makes my spirit soar. Helmets are optional in our state (Florida) and mine has a sticker "My Helmet - My Choice". It is amazing how many bikers in States that have the motorcycle law wear "novelty" helmets. Many riders believe in the event of an accident the helmet will protect the head but your body will be punished.
